Exciting News! Ben is now a Double Major!

I've emailed and told this to some family but haven't gotten the word around to everyone yet and thought this would be a great way. A week ago Sunday Ben started the what if game with himself and wondered what if he didn't get into any of the grad school programs he likes. (Slim chance.)  So he thought what if he got a degree in History while he waits to apply again in a year, if he didn't get in. (It would make it better to be applying for a History program with a History degree.) So he checked out how much more he would have to do to double major and add History and discovered that he only needed two classes to accomplish the double major! So after meeting with an English advisor, finding out that he needs one more class for the English major, and a History advisor he is now officially a Double Major in English and History!!!

This means that now, since he is adding three more classes to his schedule, he will not have a light load these last two semesters as he had thought he would. He'll be taking 18 credits each semester along with doing two 2 credit classes on independent study. Also, he is auditing a philosophy class this semester. Wow! Busy Guy!

I'm so proud of him!!! Way to go sweetie!!!
