Ornament Rolling

After trimming the Christmas tree for a little bit it was time for Sara to go to bed. Since she had so much fun trimming and was pretty good about helping, even though she had to take some ornaments off at times (more stayed on then came off so we had progress), I thought I'd wait to finish it with her in the morning.
Bad idea.

The next morning she pulled all the ornaments off and ran around banging them together. (They are plastic.) Any attempt by me to put them back on the tree was met with uhh uhh's of protest and taking them off again. Haha. She later decided to see what would happen if she threw them down the hall. That's when the game of ornament rolling started. It was really cute. She would watch to see how each one would behave as it rolled down the hallway and then get really excited when it came to a stop. She would get excited throwing them too. The whole endeavor was exciting to her.

She does this flying rapid walk where she puts her head a little forward and has her arms behind her with hands flapping. This time she did it with ornaments, no flapping. Very cute.

She had so much fun!

After we were all done we read "Poppy Cat loves Christmas"
